Most of your customers start on WhatsApp, usually at night or right after an ad goes live, and they message the one office phone. By the time someone picks it up in the morning, half of them have already booked with whoever answered first.

WhatsApp is where the price question gets asked. The agency that answers first usually gets the booking, and the agent never sleeps.

Play it

The ad goes live. Twelve chats in a minute.

From then on every message gets an answer in seconds, at 3 a.m., during Friday prayers or the morning after a big ad. The agent marks the message as read, shows typing…, then replies from your real packages and prices in the customer's dialect, asks your qualification questions, and passes the chat to your team when it needs a person. A reply from your team pauses the AI in that conversation.

WhatsApp's one rule

Every message from the customer opens 24 hours

WhatsApp has one rule worth knowing: free-form replies are allowed within 24 hours of the customer's last message, and the window restarts every time they write. After that, WhatsApp only accepts pre-approved template messages, which Flyby doesn't send yet, so the conversation waits until the customer writes again. That's why answering in seconds matters: the decision happens while the window is open.

Closed: WhatsApp only accepts an approved template now

Flyby doesn't send templates yet, so the chat waits until the customer writes again. The moment they do, the window reopens for another 24 hours.

Before you connect

Five things from Meta, and Flyby does the rest

Flyby connects to WhatsApp through Meta's official Cloud API, using your agency's own Meta app and your own business number. You paste the app's credentials in Settings, Channels & integrations, and Flyby checks the number with Meta and points the message webhook at your agency. The number stays yours, and Meta bills its messaging fees to you directly.

Rather not touch Meta's dashboard?

Add Meta setup and our team prepares the app, the number and the credentials with you.

What you paste in Flyby

  1. 1Your agency's Meta appCreated in Meta for Developers, with the WhatsApp product added.
  2. 2A business number on the Cloud APIRegistered in WhatsApp Manager. It stays your number.
  3. 3System user tokenA permanent token from Business Settings, with WhatsApp permissions.
  4. 4App secretFrom the app's basic settings. Flyby uses it to check every webhook.
  5. 5WABA ID + Phone number IDBoth shown on the WhatsApp API setup page.

Then Flyby, on Connect:

  • Verifies your number with Meta
  • Points the webhook at your agency
  • Checks Meta's signature on every webhook
  • Ignores duplicate deliveries
  • Encrypts the token and app secret

Meta's rules apply: your app has to be Live to message the public, and Meta may ask for business verification and App Review first.

Three steps

From Meta app to first answered chat

  1. 1

    Prepare your Meta app

In Meta for Developers, add WhatsApp to your agency's app, register your business number on the Cloud API and create a system-user token.

  2. 2

    Paste and connect

In Settings, Channels & integrations, switch WhatsApp on, paste the token, app secret, WABA ID and Phone number ID, and click Connect. Flyby verifies the number and sets the webhook.

  3. 3

    Put the number everywhere

Click-to-WhatsApp ads, your bio, your website and your brochures. Every message is answered in seconds, and qualified customers land in your pipeline.

The same agent, now on your WhatsApp number

  • Official WhatsApp Cloud API through your own Meta app
  • Your number stays yours; Meta bills messaging fees to you directly
  • Flyby verifies the number and points the webhook for you
  • Every webhook checked against Meta's signature, duplicates ignored
  • Messages marked read and typing… shown while the agent writes
  • Same agent, catalog, FAQs and qualification as every other channel
  • Handoff to your team, and a human reply pauses the AI
  • Available on every plan and during the 14-day trial

Voice notes and photos show up in the inbox as labels so your team can see them, and the agent asks the customer to type what they need.

Where WhatsApp pays off first

140messages before morning

The Umrah ad that went viral

An agency in Cairo boosts an Umrah offer on Thursday night and 140 WhatsApp messages arrive before morning. Every one gets prices and dates within seconds, and on Friday the team opens the inbox to 31 qualified families sorted in the pipeline.

1number for the whole team

One number, a whole sales team

Instead of passing one phone around the office, every agent works the same WhatsApp number from the shared inbox. The AI handles the first questions, and whoever takes over a chat replies with the agency's name, not their own.

01:00in Riyadh, answered in Gulf dialect

Gulf customers in a different time zone

A Riyadh family messages at 1 a.m. Cairo time about a summer trip. The agent answers in Gulf dialect, collects dates, budget and the number of travellers, and the lead is waiting with a hot score when the office opens.

A number registered on the Cloud API is used through the API, so your team answers from Flyby's shared inbox instead of the phone app. Many agencies use a dedicated number for this. Meta's own rules decide whether an existing number can be moved, so check them in Meta Business Suite first.
